British Insurance Law AssociationBILA is a unique organisation, its membership being drawn from Insurers, Insurance Brokers and other intermediaries, Academic Lawyers, Solicitors and Barristers. In addition to UK members, there are many from all over the world. BILA is not only a domestic organisation, it is also the British Chapter of the Association International de Droit des Assurances (AIDA) and is an active participant in its quadrennial world congress. Cyber Liability presentation and mock trialWEDNESDAY 22 June, 2011 BILA in Association with the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) held a CYBER LIABILITY MOCK TRIAL followed by a GARDEN PARTY on Wednesday June, 22, 2011. Participating were Ken Munro, Pen Test Partners, Rick Welch of ANV, Patrick Donolley and David Nayler from Aon Financial Services Group, Jacquetta Castle, Fishburns, Christine Williams, Xchanging Claims Services. The Rt Hon Lord Justice Aikens presided over the Mock Trial held in Court 4 of the Royal Courts of Justice. Counsel representing the Policyholder and Insurers were Michael Douglas QC and James Leabeater - 4 Pump Court and Tom Weitzman QC and Nick Craig - 3 Verulam Buildings.
